What Is Ubtan?
Ubtan is a traditional and natural skincare product originating in South Asia, particularly in India.

Ubtan is a mixture of various powdered herbs, grains, and sometimes pulses, which are combined with water, milk, yoghurt, or rosewater to form a paste.
Ubtan is applied to the face and body, left to dry for a few minutes, and then gently rubbed off with water.
It is known for its ability to cleanse, exfoliate, and brighten the skin while providing various other skincare benefits.
It offers a holistic approach to skincare, leaving skin radiant and rejuvenated.
Ingredients For Ubtan
We’ll use the magical benefits of gram flour and back it with the anti-oxidants of green tea and the distilled properties of rose water. Overall these three ingredients with do magic for your skin.
Besan (gram flour):

Besan is an excellent natural exfoliator. It helps remove dead skin cells, dirt, and impurities from the skin’s surface, leaving it smoother and more radiant.

Preparation Of Ubtan
You can easily prepare the Ubtan by following these steps.
STEP 1:
Start by preparing a green tea decoction. (If you’re using a green tea bag, boil water and dip the tea bag in it. If you have loose green tea leaves, boil the leaves with water and strain them in a cup.)
STEP 2:
Take 2-3 spoons of the decoction in a bowl and let it cool. (You can drink the remaining tea.)
STEP 3:
Now, add 2-3 spoonfuls of rosewater to the green tea decoction.
STEP 4:
Now, add Besan or gram flour into the mixture until you achieve a paste-like consistency.
STEP 5:
Thoroughly stir and mix all the ingredients until well combined, and your Ubtan is now ready to use!

Application Of Ubtan
For application, gently scoop a small amount of the Ubtan onto your palm and massage it into your face in a gentle circular motion.
